memory Persecution Puerto Ricans travel to Latin American countries

For Milton Sanchez

Filiberto Ojeda Rios Foundation condemns harassment, harassment and the pursuit of which is subject to Elma Beatriz Rosado, Puerto Rican independence fighter, by the U.S. government.
U.S. immigration authorities arrested Rosado on April 12 at the airport in Miami, United States, where his flight made a stopover before returning to Puerto Rico. Rosado returned from Nicaragua, after participating in an international meeting of Left Parties and Social Movements in Mesoamerica and the Caribbean, whose closure was chaired by the President of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega. Julio Muriente peers, Hostos National Independence Movement, and Carlos QuirĂ³s, the Movimiento al Socialismo, with Rosado, Filiberto Ojeda Rios Foundation, represented the Puerto Rican independence movement.
FOR
Foundation denounces the intentions of the U.S. government of trying to separate the Puerto Ricans of their Latin American brothers, to impede their travel. On the way back to Puerto Rico, as well as return trips to other countries like Cuba and Venezuela, Pink has been arrested, their belongings thoroughly examined and has been subjected to extensive interrogation, where questions have a clear objective of bullying and harassment.
Immigration officials removed the money from his wallet, business cards with names of several persons, driver's license, flight itinerary and personal notes. Although the property was returned, the documents were photocopied, immigration agents retain the content of information, in clear violation of their rights.
These dirty tactics of the United States occur in the city of Miami, the Cuban right focus, where many have plotted terrorist actions, and threatens the safety of Puerto Ricans in a strange place home.
FOR Foundation claims that the treatment and interrogation which is subject Rosado, intended to draw a thick line hostile to the countries visited, and show through intentions to build a campaign against them, implying that they are enemy countries, like for decades have tried to criminalize the Puerto Rican struggle for independence.
Not content with maintaining continuous crackdown against the separatists, and following the
murder of Filiberto Ojeda Rios on September 23, 2005, resort to these tactics trying to disrupt the bonds of the Puerto Rican solidarity with our Latin American brothers and Caribbean.
Foundation interference complaint FOR U.S. government in the lives of Puerto Ricans and the disruption of normal activities such as visits to foreign countries. Such actions demonstrate the reality of a colonial Puerto Rico and demonstrate the tight control maintained by the United States on our country. Until Puerto Rico do not own absolute sovereignty will not have decision-making power over who enters or leaves the country.
